WRGY 90.5 FM is a non-profit, community/educational radio station serving the Rangeley Lakes region of Maine. We broadcast from our studio located in the RFA Lakeside Theater on Main Street in Rangeley, Maine, and transmit from the top of nearby Saddleback Mountain. WRGY offers a wide variety of programming, including educational programs, music from a broad array of genres, and information on community activities and events. We believe a community radio station should reflect the interests of the community it serves, and actively seek feedback, suggestions, and ideas from our listeners. We are also committed to serving as an outlet for the knowledge and creativity of community members, and seek their involvement in developing and producing new programming. As a non-commercial radio station, WRGY relies on tax-deductible donations from individuals and underwriting from businesses and organizations for its operating revenue. WRGY is a non-profit 501 (c) 3, operated by Tranet, a non-profit that includes WRGY. All donations to Tranet on behalf of WRGY are 100% credited directly to WRGY, with no administrative costs. We greatly appreciate all our supporters, and are committed to delivering programming with a local flair to our community and beyond.
